Easy going captain and mate with a ton of knowledge. 5 not so easy to please old men had a blast. We didn’t go fishing, we went catching. Captain Ed and Mongo- thank you!! We will see you again soon.

We took 2 friends out from Europe who had never fished before, Captain Ed asked me what I wanted to fish for, and he delivered. Great experience for our friends . Captain and mate were very friendly and easy to work with and talk to. I would highly recommend Lucky Strike Charters for your next fishing trip.

We hosted two friends visiting from Europe for their first-ever angling experience, and Captain Ed made sure it was a success. After discussing our target species, the captain followed through perfectly and provided our guests with a fantastic introduction to the sport. Trip - Extra Deck Time to Track Down Big Strikes on July 19, 2025

CPT Ed and Mongo were awesome. My family of four went out with them for a trip and they were super welcoming and tried everything to make sure we had a great time. My 14yo son and I have done about 10 charters before but my wife and 13yo daughter had never gone and this was their first. They booked one for my birthday and the day we arrived to our hotel our charter cancelled on account of bad winds. We were super bummed. I jumped in fishing booker and found lucky strike and sent Ed a message asking if they thought conditions were ok. They said it seemed fine and agreed to take us on this last minute booking. That saved the whole trip! We trolled for Spanish mackerel and caught only two as it was slow. We then threw out the net and got some bait to try shark. We caught four shark, one per person who cg was a blast! They were great and I can’t recommend them enough!

We had an incredible shark fishing trip with Lucky Strike Charters! Captain Ed put us on the fish right away, and Mongo, the first mate, was a pro at getting the sharks on board and making sure everyone had a chance to hold their catch. We reeled in seven sharks, all between 30 and 56 inches! The boat was clean and comfortable, and the entire crew ensured we had a fantastic time. I highly recommend Lucky Strike Charters for a memorable day on the water!

If you want a great trip, this is it. The Captain and crew were excellent, and the experience couldn't have been better. My 10-year-old really wanted to catch a shark, and the Captain put us right on them just as I asked. He caught one keeper and another for catch-and-release—a total dream come true! This is a first-rate trip and an unbeatable deal.

Trip - Full Day Deep Offshore Battle for Heavyweights on June 9, 2025

We had a great time fishing with Lucky Strike Charters. We caught Mahi, Cobia, King Mackerel, Barracuda, Spanish Mackerel, and Tuna. It was fun for everyone, even those who had never been offshore fishing before. The crew was excellent, and Mongo was amazing—he was professional and shared our excitement every time we reeled one in.
